Our Story
At the Adelaide North West Homelessness Alliance, we believe safe and appropriate housing is a human right, and essential to wellbeing and independence.
That’s why we’re committed to providing support and services to young people, Aboriginal people, adults and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness across Adelaide’s north and west, extending as far as the Barossa.
We provide services through a collaborative partnership between seven for-purpose community organisations and the South Australian Housing Authority.
Together, we aim to provide access to safe and supported accommodation options that lead people towards independence and belonging.

Aboriginal Sobriety Group
Aboriginal Sobriety Group Indigenous Corporation (ASG) is a not-for profit organisation providing care and support to individuals, families and the communities who wish to have better quality of life and to promote health, well-being and equality for the whole community.
We are an advocate for change.
AnglicareSA
For more than 160 years, AnglicareSA has supported South Australians in need.
Our 1,800 employees and 400 volunteers support more than 45,000 people each year through a broad range of programs and services including housing and homelessness, NDIS services, aged care, foster care, emergency assistance, financial counselling and literacy, Aboriginal services, and support for children, youth and families.
Centacare
For 80 years, Centacare Catholic Family Services has worked to help people experiencing hardships and challenges to reach their full potential.
We are client focused and deliver 63 services across 31 sites in regional and metropolitan South Australia.
We support more than 30,000 people annually through our homelessness, domestic violence, NDIS, mental health, relationship, youth, family and children’s services.
SA Housing Authority
The SA Housing Authority works with customers, the housing and homelessness sector and the broader community to provide better housing choices for South Australians.
The Authority develops, implements and provides housing services for people who are at risk or in high need, and works with government and non-government organisations to improve the standard of - and access to - housing across the state.
St John’s Youth Services
St John’s Youth Services works with young people in the Adelaide metropolitan area aged from 16 to 25, who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
As well as individuals, we support young parents and their dependent children, and can accommodate single mums or dads and their children, as well as couples.
The Salvation Army Australia
The Salvation Army Australia is an international Christian movement, united by faith and giving hope where it’s needed most. Across Australia, our work touches every demographic and age group.
We’re involved in national issues while also bringing hope to people who may be experiencing hardship or injustice. The Salvation Army provides an array of spiritual and social services throughout South Australia.
Uniting Communities
Uniting Communities has been supporting the South Australian community since 1901.
We work alongside more than 80,000 South Australians each year as they strive for a bright future and great lives, supporting them to overcome adversity and disadvantage.
Our services, advocacy and community-building activities are central to achieving this.
UnitingSA
UnitingSA was established in 1919 and provides housing, aged care and community services to support people across regional and metropolitan South Australia.
More than 1,000 employees and volunteers deliver high quality services to people from diverse backgrounds to realise UnitingSA's vision of a compassionate, respectful and just community in which all people participate and flourish.
