Homelessness Prevention

Homelessness Prevention is a free service that works side by side with people at risk of losing their home, to help them avoid homelessness.

The Homelessness Prevention team can help you with tenancy support if you’re at risk of losing your tenancy and/or are aware your current tenancy will come to an end.

We work towards preventing homelessness by:

    your behalf
  • Help to set up rental profiles and to fill in paperwork
  • Support to access specialised services like financial counselling and mental health supports
  • Help to navigate the housing and homelessness sector
  • Building living skills
  • Help to set goals and work towards them, especially housing goals
  • Getting you involved in your community
  • Advice on various housing options
